The below job description will outline this position of: Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer Typically, this person will need be diagnosing, repair, and maintain all mechanical, domestic, and hydraulic equipment onboard vessels and in the repair workshop. Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer: * Diagnose, repair, and maintain all mechanical, domestic, and hydraulic equipment onboard vessels and in the repair workshop. * Ensure all shipboard mechanical systems are operated and maintained safely and efficiently. * Maintain all tools and equipment to a high standard. * Keep company-approved Planned Maintenance/Purchasing systems up to date. * Complete job reports and allocate materials for each job. * Ensure compliance with all appropriate PTWs, isolations, risk assessments, and method statements. * Provide out-of-hours service when required. * Promote and adhere to the company's QHSE Policies. * Stop work if necessary to ensure safety. * Assist other divisions when required. Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer: * Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineer with relevant onshore/offshore support experience * Hands on background in heavy engineering * Driving Licence This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
