KS2 Teaching Assistant Manchester Full-Time September 2024 £425-£450 Weekly Pay (PAYE - No Umbrella Company) Do you have experience of supporting teaching and learning in the classroom? Do you have experience working in KS2? If so, this longer-term role could be for you. New Directions is working with a brilliant primary school in West Gorton that is looking for a full-time, longer-term teaching assistant for their Year 4 class. This role commences in September and is until July 2025. We have a range of FREE CPD training courses, from Safeguarding to Autism Awareness, which will teach you the relevant skills and attributes necessary for supporting children in our schools. We will also accept Health&Care, Social Care , Care Worker backgrounds! Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to: Have excellent communication skills. Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff. Be encouraging and supportive. Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children's development. Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.Job Specification: Supervise and provide learning support for children in small groups and on a one to one basis Assist with the development of individual education and behavioural plans setting challenging expectations for pupils to achieve learning goals. Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs and personalities.
