Senior Building Surveyor

Adecco are delighted to be supporting a London Borough Council in their recruitment of an interim Senior Building Surveyor. This post is located in the Housing Asset Planning Team and undertakes works from RIBA Stages 0 - 4, prior to the handover to THE Housing Capital Delivery Team for the management of works on site. The duties include undertaking surveys & assessments on our existing housing assets, on acquisitions, planning & scoping of projects works ranging from small to more complex / large projects. In addition, this post would need to be able to assist with the initial budget cost setting (or liaison - depending on the scale of the works), provide recommendations & reports, manage consultants appointed to support the scoping & packaging of works, including the tender process ready for the on site delivery works. Role requires experience in medium to large scale construction maintenance / refurbishment projects in line with the pre-construction phases of RIBA Plan of Work Stages 0 - 4
