Responsibilities encompass a wide array of tasks, such as:
- Collaborating with BDM Enterprise Architecture to craft, oversee, and uphold architectures for IT Services, ensuring their efficient delivery and operation within a hybrid and multi-vendor ecosystem.
- This includes working with multiple cloud providers, various system integrators (SIs), numerous Software as a Service (SaaS) providers, and multiple government organizations within the Government of Canada (GC).
- Offering profound expertise in the design and operation of a comprehensive spectrum of IT services spanning multiple domains within this hybrid environment.
- Offer expertise on the frameworks and optimal practices for IT Service Management (ITSM) in intricate, multi-vendor environments.
- Comprehend and communicate the ways in which IT Services Operations Architectures collaborate, bolster, and integrate with other interconnected domains, including vendor management and product management.
- Facilitate the exploration, assessment, and selection of ITSM technology and product standards, in addition to crafting standardized configurations.
- Identify the organizational repercussions, spanning skills, processes, structures, and culture, as well as the financial implications of current and future technology roadmaps and decisions.
- Recognize, document, and suggest standards and replicable solution patterns for enterprise-level IT Service Management.
- Provide expertise and consultation on technology implementation and modification endeavors, such as projects or high-impact initiatives.
- Extend expert guidance and insights on service management and monitoring for cloud services.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) certification is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service management.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing IT service management frameworks and processes.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management tools and technologies.
- Excellent understanding of IT service governance, compliance, and best practices.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
