Handover Manager Location: Hounslow – Heathrow Contract Duration: 6 months Rate: £50PH PAYE or £50PH Outside IR35 Project Overview: The role involves working within the Quality and Assurance team for a major programme at Heathrow, focusing on the transformation and asset renewal of Terminal 1 and 2. Job Purpose: This key position ensures effective handover processes align with client requirements and project information management. It involves establishing a Handover Tracker to clarify timelines, responsibilities, formats, and information delivery. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the handover process, ensuring timely and correctly formatted information transfer. Serve as the main contact for all handover queries. Manage the collation and transmission of relevant data. Facilitate regular internal and monthly Heathrow handover meetings. Maintain a Handover Tracker for accurate information sharing among stakeholders. Represent the organization in relevant integration groups. Prepare data-driven reports on delivery trends, including root cause analyses of failures. Capture and disseminate lessons learned from handover activities. Provide information control support to project stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Essential: In-depth knowledge of handover processes for complex infrastructure projects. Understanding of ISO 19650 standards. Strong time management and prioritization skills. Excellent communication abilities across various platforms. Proficiency in IT tools, including Excel and PowerApps. Experience with document management systems. Proven track record in project lifecycle management. HNC in Engineering or higher. Technical background in M&E or civil engineering. Desirable: Familiarity with relevant business systems and processes at Heathrow. Experience in lean root cause analyses. 4o mini
