Test Automation Developer, Hybrid work in Ottawa.On behalf of our leading-industry client, Procom is seeking a Software Automation Developer. The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team involved in the delivery of software solutions that facilitate automated testing. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, test frameworks, and test tools.Qualifications Required-Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field-3+ years experience in Python test development, and experience with embedded system testing-Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie: Slash)-Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)-Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems-Strong verbal and written communication skills-Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solvingNice to Have-Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)-Embedded system testing experience-Experience with database (SQL)-Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualitiesAssignment Length: 15 months
