Description As the Director of Sponsor Financial Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects related to our sponsor relationships. You will play a crucial role in managing sponsor accounts, optimizing processes, and providing strategic financial guidance to the leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven history of driving financial performance in a similar role. Responsibilities Oversee the Sponsor Receivable Accounts, including Client Financial Reporting, Controls, Commissions, and Premiums. Preparation and review of the monthly/quarterly review with the VP & CFO. Oversee financial compliance and risk management activities and project initiatives. Lead and mentor a team to ensure high performance and continuous development. Identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, automation, and digital tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery. You share your humanity, helping us build a diverse and inclusive work environment for everyone What we are looking for Accounting Designation (CPA) with 5+ years of experience in financial management or related field, with a focus on sponsor or client financial services. Proven history of success in driving financial performance and managing sponsor relationships. Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to change and drive results. Strong analytical capabilities, very comfortable with quantitative & financial analysis. High level of conceptual skills and an ability to operate strategically. Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership team members individually and collectively, and get recommendations approved and implemented. Change management/ambiguity: ability to work in a challenging environment with limited information but continue to push tasks through based on known information, common sense and asking the right questions. Meticulous: importance to detail to ensure the highest quality of work is shared with senior management for their review. Research, analysis, and strong problem-solving abilities by identifying issues, taking a logical approach to finding an answer based on research and sound analysis. Project management: ability to drive projects to execution by developing deliverables timelines and effectively managing stakeholders. Strong business acumen, customer, and market focus; proven strategic thinking and execution skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Primary Location CAN, Quebec, Montreal, 900 Boulevard de Maisonneuve Ouest Salary range is expected to be between $101,700.00 CAD - $183,060.00 CAD If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
