Position Overview:
We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Residential Construction Manager to oversee the construction of luxury estate homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, excellent project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality homes. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure that all aspects of construction are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of residential construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite staff, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction follows plans, specifications, and building codes. Address any issues promptly to maintain quality standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with all parties to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols on all job sites to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction management, preferably in luxury home building.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing multiple high-end residential construction projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address and resolve construction challenges.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
