SEN Teaching Assistant   


Support secondary students with an ASC / autism diagnosis at this charming Cheshire SEN school, working full-time as a SEN Teaching Assistant.


This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for experienced support staff, as well as psychology graduates who are looking to springboard their careers, earning whilst you learn.


SEN Teaching Assistant: 
In this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will be working with students on a 1:1 basis within a class setting, whilst making the most of this SEN schools fantastic facilities, including a forest school.



This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for any budding SEN Teachers or Educational / Child Psychologist, looking to build up classroom experience at a thriving SEN school setting.



SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role: 
  • Work across a thriving SEN school
  • Support students with an ASC / autism diagnosis
  • Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
  • Collaborate with experienced teachers and other LSAs
  • Complete induction training


SEN Teaching Assistant – Qualifications required:
 
  • Level 3 TA or degree level of education preference
  • Education / childcare experience is required
  • Previous SEN / ASC experience is desirable
  • Calm, compassionate and proactive manner
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
