Full-time contractWellspring Cancer Support Foundation is seeking a Program Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic team. This is a full-time contract position that will run from mid-October (start date negotiable) until February 2026. This position is primarily located at 2545 Sixth Line in Oakville, and the successful candidate may choose to work 2 days at home most weeks.Required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesMinimum of 2 years of experience in a non-profit setting, preferably related to health and/or wellnessUniversity degree in social work, social services, health administration, child life, or a related fieldExperience in a supervisory roleHigh degree of organization, with very good problem-solving skills and attention to detailUnderstanding of the impact of cancer on individuals and familiesHigh degree of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and OutlookFluency in English with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentKey Areas of ResponsibilityManagement of designated programs including:recruitment of and succession planning for professional and volunteer program leadershipmonitoring program performance and addressing concerns as they arisestrategic planning for growth and identification of gaps in programmingnew program developmentmanaging stakeholder relations with partnered programsprogram leadership where relevantCoordination of designated programs including:Scheduling of professional leaders and volunteersleader mentoring and supportacquisition of required supplies and equipmentvirtual hosting and oversight of data collectionSupervision and mentorship of the Centre CoordinatorParticipation and contribution as an integral part of the Mission Delivery staff teamParticipation in, and encouragement of, Wellspring’s growing culture of philanthropyWellspring promotes diversity and adheres to the tenets of the Ontario Human Rights Code.
