Project Technical Engineer – F/M

Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan European service provider, certified by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services, among which, the main one is the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space).We are looking for a Project Technical Engineer who will contribute to the achievement of the Unit’s stakes by being in charge of specific activities such as replying to tenders, EGNOS system evolution monitoring and transversal project management.For these activities, we are looking for someone with 5 years’ experience in Space or aeronautics domain in Project Management, with a very good level of English (minimum B2).Main responsibilities/activities:Participation in the drafting of technical proposals for our clients, in the EGNOS context, but also for other clients in the company's diversification process in the areas of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS). Within this scope, the following activities are expected:Coordinate the technical proposal, within the Unit and with the other ESSP Units.Prepare and attend key meetings for tender preparation.Consolidate cost estimations and review of the proposals.Support to the preparation of the statement of work for subcontracted activities.Support to the preparation of Change Requests for the maintenance supply chain in the frame of EGNOS service provision contract.Support to technical meetings and negotiations with the customer.Follow-up of projects assigned to the team:Set-up of the project team and organise the project kick-off.Project monitoring in terms of schedule, costs and quality.Technical reporting and monitoring of payment milestones.Organise steering committees.Possible direct technical contribution to some activities.In charge of the proper execution of contracts, with support of Contract team and management of the client interface.Occasional support to the Team Leader (reporting and follow-up of the EGNOS maintenance contract) and backup during her/his absence on some topics.Follow-up of new EGNOS versions:Collecting ESSP needs in terms of system evolutions.Managing the interface with the GNSS Authority (EUSPA: European Union Agency for the Space Programme - the client), and partners.Participation, if required, to the review of EGNOS System Releases under the project management of EUSPA.Profile:Experience of contribution to the production of responses to calls for tender.Experience in project management (PMI/PMP certification or equivalent would be a plus).Experience in System Engineering (INCOSE/CSEP certification or equivalent would be a plus).Knowledge of GNSS and GNSS operations (EGNOS in particular) would be a plus.Excellent writing and synthesis skills.Good negotiation skills.Good communication.Team player spirit.Strong autonomy, rigor and precision.Know how to identify risks and report to management.High level of English (B2-C1) - CEFR.Job Requirements:Engineering degree or equivalent.Available for occasional travel in Europe.Human Resources information:1st interview is held by the direct manager of the position you applied for (technical interview).2nd interview is held by HR department.Element of package of remuneration:Variable: bonuses based on objectives.Profit-sharing.Teleworking: up to 2 days/week.Tickets Restaurant (card) & Family Health insurance.Sustainable Mobility Package: Home/Office travels reimbursement if car sharing or bicycling.Reimbursement of 75% of public transport.Please send your application file only by e-mail to the following address: [email protected] Location: Toulouse (France).Type of Contract: Full time – Permanent Contract.ESSP is committed to cultural diversity, gender equality and the employment of disabled workers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
