Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a progressive and rapidly expanding Groundworks specialist in the Bridgwater area. They carry out a range of large groundworks packages across the residential and commercial sectors, covering the South West in its entirety. They have an excellent reputation and genuinely look after their staff. Due to ongoing growth they have the requirement to recruit at least one Quantity Surveyor into their team. They are open to the level of individual that comes in to the business, but ideally need someone with a fair bit of experience behind them, who can hit the ground running. The role will involve managing the commercial aspects of schemes reporting to the Commercial Director. You may also have management and mentoring responsibility for a more junior member of staff. Candidates can come from a main contracting environment but ideally will have some civils/groundworks experience. You will also reside within commutable distance of the Bridgwater area, or be able to commute on a dairly basis. On offer is the chance to work for a rapidly expanding contractor.
