Job Title: SEN Tutor
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND).
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher or experienced SEN professional to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition to students with a range of learning needs, including those with SEND, SEMH, MLD, and SLD.
You will work closely with our team of SEN Support Specialists to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student. Your expertise and passion for teaching will help to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality one-to-one tuition to students with SEN and SEND
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student
- Work closely with our SEN Support Specialists to ensure seamless support and guidance
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education
Requirements
- Qualified teacher or experienced SEN professional with a passion for teaching and supporting students with SEN
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with students with SEN and SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
- Enhanced DBS clearance and two professional references
