In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home; 2-3 days a week in office. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times. We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto and Vancouver offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance. About you : You are a data-driven, business-savvy leader. You intuitively understand the data needs at an enterprise level and are eager to develop and execute a strategic roadmap to maximize data capabilities, controls, real-time monitoring, and business insights. You're ready to build a data function from the ground up – covering products and services, sales, operations, technology, risk, and finance. About the qualifications: 10+ years leading data analytics and strategy in a financial services environment. Bachelor's degree in analytics, business intelligence, data science, economics, engineering or statistics; Master's degree preferred. Strategic mindset with demonstrated experience in implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement. Expert communication skills and ability to influence leadership. Knowledge of banking and industry financial metrics. Exceptional project management skills. About the day-to-day: Manage, motivate, and develop direct reports through ongoing performance development. Develop data strategy and processes, including sources, design and structure, data integrity and governance. Transform data and information into insights that inform high-level strategy and tactical decision-making in support of revenue and profitability objectives. Develop and execute a plan to maximize real-time/near real-time monitoring and controls for transaction flow. Implement business intelligence and analytics solutions and gain support of multiple stakeholders. Implement a formal data governance approach and increase the maturity of the enterprise data capability and environment. Influence business process changes to support an efficient and cost-effective business operations environment. Annual Compensation: Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $225,000 and $275,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience that the chosen candidate possess.
