Product Approvals Engineer

Product Approvals Engineer - £38k - Somerset Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading design and manufacturer of electronic equipment. They are looking to take on a product approvals engineer to provide technical guidance and support on all matters relating to global product compliance. This role will involve working closely with the product design team and you will be required to ensure products are compliant with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities: + Confirm all compliance risks/issues are communicated effectively and acted upon. + Assist in the Management of the certification library of approved products. + Interpret technical documentation and communicate the requirements. + Ensure data is accurate and compliant with standards like - RoHS, REACH, CE etc. Key skills: + Experience of EMC testing (Emissions / Immunity) on commercial products. + Strong understanding of internal auditing and management (i.e. ISO 9001, 17025). + An understanding of Electrical/Electronic engineering fundamentals. The salary will be up to £38k depending on previous experience with great company benefits.
