Financial Manager - Logistics Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for the fixed cost of Delivery Stations across all EU countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate basic control risks, evaluating their impact and implementing improvements to remediate gaps.
• Deliver weekly and monthly financial close, utilizing financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets, producing plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
• Collaborate with various data sources, identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, its root causes, and escalating discrepancies. Where possible, fix data or partner to deliver a solution.
• Communicate complex finance issues clearly, using active listening skills to articulate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting style for various audiences.
• Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.
• Make thoughtful time management decisions independently, prioritizing work, resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and seeking feedback from your manager.
