Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position is located at our Saskatoon, SK office, and the successful candidate would have overall responsibility for delivering Civil Engineering services on our major projects. Qualifications: Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering with eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan. 15 years of earthwork, buried and surface run utilities experience. Tailings/slurry piping layout design experience is an asset. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Ability to work in both design office and operating plant environments. Ability to mentor junior engineers and design personnel. Experience in storm water management, stormwater runoff calculations, sizing of ditches, culverts, and ponds. Good understanding of various coordinate systems and survey controls. Experience in interpreting and applying geotechnical design recommendations on civil designs. Experience in interpreting geotechnical & hydrology reports. Engineering experience in private fire protection systems. Excellent organizational, technical, and computer skills. Must be Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of general civil designs and an understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction methods. Experience with Civil 3D software would be an asset. Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required. ``` #J-18808-Ljbffr
