We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join and lead a thriving nursery in the Nottingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives and support their growth during the most crucial stage of development.
This is with a well-established nursery providing high-quality early years education and care to children aged 0-5. Their ethos centres around creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. With our focus on play-based learning and a strong partnership with parents, they nurture children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
As the Nursery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring that it meets and exceeds all standards of care and education. You will manage and support a friendly team of childcare professionals, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and children.

Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and external agencies
- Managing staff recruitment, development, and performance
- Ensuring compliance with EYFS statutory requirements and safeguarding policies
- Leading curriculum development and planning to ensure engaging, age-appropriate learning opportunities
- Maintaining health and safety standards, including cleanliness and security
- Overseeing budgeting, resource allocation, and managing occupancy levels
- Conducting regular audits to ensure quality and consistency in care and education
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
- Significant experience in a leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and support your team
