Specialist Occupational Therapist Early Help Adult Social Care 3 month initial contract with the view of extension Pay : £36-£40 per hour Hull We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Specialist Occupational Therapist for a 3 month initial contract, with potential for extension. Responsibilities: Provide high quality occupational therapy practice and manage a caseload with a focus on supporting people facing multiple disadvantages presenting with complex problems including homelessness, substance misuse, contact with the criminal justice system and mental ill health. To provide day-to-day management, supervision and line management of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Students to implement an effective and timely service for Hull residents. Offer leadership for staff, reviewing and reflecting on own practice and performance through reflective practice, effective use of professional and operational supervision and appraisal. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that people's outcomes are achieved e.g. facilitating joint reviews/assessments.Requirements: Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration. Completed Care Act, MCA DoLs and Human Rights Act training including Making Safeguarding Personal Safe guarding adults training.
