We’re seeking a Children’s Registered Manager to lead operations at a highly regarded, ‘Outstanding’ rated Children’s Residential Home in West Yorkshire. You'll be at the forefront of safeguarding efforts, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest standards in child-centered care, all while collaborating with families, social workers, and other professionals. Your leadership will drive positive change and set the standard for care across the home. Role and responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team of care staff to deliver exceptional, child-centred care in accordance with Ofsted regulations. Operational lead for all safeguarding matters across the service. Positive role model and mentor to the team of care staff – Providing therapeutic care and support for each child. Contribute to overall improvements in the quality of care across the home – Leading performance reviews and appraisals, delivering training to staff and planning for developments within the home Build positive relationships with families, social workers, education providers and other professionals.Requirements: At least 2 years’ experience in a management or senior role within a similar setting. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services. Significant experience supporting young people with EBD, SEMH and other complex needs. In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
