Overview:
This role will report into a Director of Open Loop Gift, managing all aspects of a consumer-funded open loop gift card portfolio in the North American retail channel. In addition to product onboarding and oversight of cross-functional and operational projects, the open loop gift category requires strategic relationship management of Blackhawk's network partnerships, as well as multiple issuing financial institutions.
This role will work closely with engineering teams, finance, risk, settlement, compliance, product implementation, product marketing and business development. Candidates need to be organized and independent problem solvers, adept at executing multi-faceted project launches. Ideal candidates will also possess some knowledge of the payment industry, payment networks and transaction processing.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with both external transaction processing platforms and our proprietary processing platform (Keystone), in cooperation with issuing banks and credit networks to coordinate technical program and product onboardings and UPC configuration
Manage submission and maintenance of necessary collateral, program approvals and project implementations via issuer and network portals
Maintain and regularly review financial models for all product offerings to assess opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies across all revenue and expense inputs
Coordinate with forecasting, internal product implementation teams and print vendors to review demand forecasts, secure card orders and execute cost-efficient inventory production, fulfillment, and compliant storage
Collaborate regularly with internal risk management teams and packaging vendors to help mitigate fraud in both the cyber and packaging space and help us continue to be innovators in the packaging security space
Facilitation of product assignment and distribution within our merchant partner network, along with identification of retail optimization strategies within physical (brick and mortar) and eCommerce retailers
Oversight and management of promotional marketing budget. Review and approve allocation of funds towards in-market promotional and product marketing spend
Work closely with issuing banks and internal legal and compliance departments to ensure products meet all Federal regulatory, BSA/AML, FINCEN & Association requirements
Regulary generate analytics dashboard for internal and partner review
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required or equivalent combination of experience and training
5+ years proven success managing cross functional projects
Proficient in MS Office Suite of products
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Self-directed with strong analytical and problem solving skills
2+ years experience in prepaid or payments industry
Some travel required
