Please note we require Colleagues to be onsite 3 days a week at our Bathurst & Lakeshore location. The Senior Manager of Loyalty Revenue Growth and Vendor Management is responsible for managing the day to day relationships with a set of assigned CPG suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience with CPG client management and experience working with marketing intelligence and consumer insights data, with a deep understanding of Loyalty. The candidate will be responsible for growing supplier investment in loyalty as well as working with suppliers to drive strategic engagements with a focus on delivering strong ROI. The individual will be providing recommendations on ways to improve supplier loyalty offer performance as well as providing strategic guidance on points utilization rate to ensure points issuance targets are met. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating plans with all 3 divisional merchandising/category teams where relevant and driving growth for strategic programs. What You’ll Do: Manage a book of supplier partners owning day to day relationships as well as large strategic discussions on loyalty Grow strategic relationships with a focus on using loyalty to deliver strong ROI Understand supplier’s strategic initiatives so that we can proactively partner with them and assist with the development of loyalty promotional strategies that deliver against those goals Proactively recommend ways to improve return on loyalty investment and providing visibility to budget and performance metrics Plan and execute digital loyalty offers for vendors with a focus on driving benefit for both Loblaw and suppliers Manage the contractual cycles of these suppliers to grow investment in the right areas for the program and meet yearly targets Partner with internal category teams to jointly grow vendor engagement in loyalty as well as grow the impact loyalty has on categories Share performance of strategic loyalty programs in order to drive excitement and increase participation among suppliers As part of the joint business planning process, providing data inputs into Joint Business Planning (JBP) reporting process, making recommendations to improve overall success of joint business planning and representing loyalty at the top to top meetings. Skilled at developing relationships with clients to become a trusted and value-added business partner 5-7 years of experience in a similar type role Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in negotiation of high value contracts Experience in Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, and/or Shopper & Consumer Insights roles or experience as a service provider to these functions Proven analytic skills: conceptualizing, analyzing, deriving insights from data, and designing an execution plan to action on the insights Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries is highly valued Experience as a power user of Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence software (e.g. Microstrategy, Tableau)
