As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained. You will lead a team of dedicated staff and be a role model for delivering excellence in childcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staff management, safeguarding, and health & safety
  • Leading the planning and implementation of a creative and inspiring curriculum that aligns with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting staff development through training and mentoring, ensuring a high level of motivation and engagement
  • Ensuring the nursery meets all regulatory and Ofsted requirements
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, parents, and the local community
  • Managing nursery budgets, occupancy, and resources to ensure a sustainable and efficient operation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a nursery or early years setting
  • A thorough understanding of EYFS and a commitment to child-led learning
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to working with children and families
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the best possible outcomes for children
