Teaching Assistant Location: Wyken, Coventry, CV2 Daily Rate: £85 - £100 Contract: Temp to Perm Start Date: ASAP Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm LTF Recruitment is seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' three-form entry primary school in Wyken. The Role: Support teaching and learning in Year 2, focusing on math and literacy interventions to help students reach their full potential. Provide tailored support to small groups and individual students who need extra help with numeracy and literacy skills. Assist with whole-class instruction while working closely with the class teacher to ensure the best learning outcomes for all students. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment where children feel confident to learn and grow.Ideal Candidate: Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or a relevant degree. Minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational setting, ideally in Key Stage 1. Experience running 1:1 and small group intervention sessions focused on math and literacy. Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 UK curriculum, particularly in math and literacy. Experience working with children with SEN. A calm, patient, and caring demeanor with strong communication skills.
