Role: Securities Operations Analyst Work Location: Zurich Job Description: Client is seeking an Operations Analyst - Securities, Hedge Funds and in Investor Reporting for a hybrid banking and financial services role. As an Operations Analyst - Securities, Hedge Funds and in Investor Reporting, you will work for a leading bank executing cross-border merger strategy from old entity to new entity. The scope involves Investment Banking and Wealth Management products with a key focus on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody services, Foreign Exchange, Investor Reporting, Collateral and Data Management across the Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office functions. To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: Documenting “as is” and “to be” processes and source approvals. Supporting client migration from one entity to parent entity along with the infrastructure. Processing the daily BAU transactions for Securities (Asset Transfers, Corporate Actions and Client Services), Hedge Funds and in Investor Reporting. Identifying the current opportunities in the “As is” and to come up with Transformation business changes in “To be” Migration. Identifying Risks and Controls in the “As is” and to come up with Transformation business changes in “To be” Migration. Skills: Experience in the banking industry, preferably within a Wealth Management environment and F2B knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with processing knowledge of confirmations, Pre and Post settlements and Reconciliations. An understanding of the Securities domain, corporate actions, Asset Transfers, Investor Reporting and Hedge Funds would be an advantage. Landscape of functional testing and an understanding of typical change management, gap analysis, working with Excel sheets. Understanding of Regulatory initiatives such as EMIR, ESMA etc. Knowledge of MS Office, Analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities (for Senior Roles). A strong focus towards accuracy and risk mitigation, paying particular attention to detail and ensuring the best possible client experience.
