(2014), YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, Public Health and Fire Regulations for licensed childcare centresLead the implementation of an inclusive play-based curriculum that includes How Does Learning Happen and the YMCA CurriculumEvaluate program quality as required utilizing the audit tools and quality initiatives and required records for complianceDemonstrate YMCA Core Values- Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Caring- in all daily interactions.Implement, practice and mentor daily, the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario Program StatementMaintain accurate records, files and forms as required by the Ministry of Education and the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario.Liaise with parents and community partners in a professional manner maintaining an inviting and inclusive environment.Oversee all registrations of children, monitor enrollment, and maintain occupancy goals of the centreManage the centre budget, complete financial forecasting, maintain and report accurate expenses and complete payroll requirementsManage Human Resource requirements for employees as neededAssist with onboarding new staff as neededWork collaboratively with the Directors of the YMCA ProgramsEducation & Skills Qualifications:An Early Childhood Educator Diploma, or diploma or degree in a related field of study, combined with a minimum of 2 years of related supervisory experience within a childcare environmentRegistered and in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)Graduates in a related field of study must be members of their associations as requiredValid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification or include the date of training scheduled within the next three months. Training cost and time is at the expense of the applicant and not reimbursedApplicants are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age or older to obtain a current Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check (less than 6 months old)Up-to-date immunizations required by Public Health, Ministry of Education and YMCASWOAbility to use frequent light to medium physical effort: lifting to 20 kg (44 lbs.), bending, and stoopingLegally entitled to work in CanadaWhy the Y?
