CNC Programmer

For the successful CNC Programmer our client is offering:

• £16.50 - £17.50 Overtime available
• Days
• Temporary to Permanent

The role - CNC Programmer:

• 
  
• Develop CNC turning programs for Featurecam/Mastercam for lathe operations based on engineering drawings/models and specifications
• Set up and operate CNC lathe to produce precision parts
• Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job
• Assemble and disassemble machine components as needed
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining

What our client is looking for in a CNC Programmer

• 
  
• Must have experience in operating HAAS/HYUNDAI/BROADBENT machines.
• Must have experience in programming using FeatureCam or MasterCam
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating or modifying part designs
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
• Proficiency in tooling selection, assembly, and fabrication techniques
• Experience with materials handling and inventory management in a warehouse setting
• Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
• Familiarity with logic controllers and programming languages used in CNC machines
• Knowledge of welding processes and techniques
