Science Technician

Position: Full-Time Science Technician Location: Mainstream Secondary School, Redbridge Start Date: ASAP School Rating: GOOD (Ofsted) Are you a science graduate with a passion for supporting practical learning? A GOOD rated secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Technician to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis. If you have a strong science background and enjoy working in a hands-on, dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you! Key Responsibilities: Prepare, set up, and maintain equipment and materials for practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Support teachers and students during experiments, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. Maintain stock levels and ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Assist in the upkeep of laboratories, ensuring they meet health and safety regulations. What They Are Looking For: Science Degree (essential), with a strong understanding of lab safety and equipment handling. Science Technician Experience (desirable), but recent graduates with a passion for science and willingness to learn will be considered. A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
