Development Designer

Position: Deveopemt Designer Organization: The Wanzl Group Role Overview: The Wanzl Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Development Designer to join our team. This crucial role encompasses managing and refining product specifications, enhancing the efficiency of the manufacturing process, and fostering innovation in product design. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain accurate product drawings and component specifications. · Identify and implement cost-saving measures throughout the manufacturing process. · Collaborate with suppliers to streamline supply chains and materials sourcing. · Assist in the development and testing of prototypes to ensure product quality. Qualifications: · A Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design (BSc/BA (Hons) or equivalent). · Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical production detailing, preferably within the retail display or shop fitting sectors. · Proficiency in design software is essential. Preferred Skills: · In-depth understanding of shelving systems and various manufacturing processes. · Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
