Bids Administrator - Portsmouth - Hybrid position working from home 2 days a week - £26,000-£30,000 Are you ready to dive into a dynamic role with a cutting-edge marine company in the heart of Portsmouth? We're on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Administrator, ideally with bids experience to add to their innovative team. As the Bids Administrator, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the seamless preparation, submission, and administration of bids, and supporting the manager with a real impact on their exciting projects. Bid Administration duties include: Supporting the Bid Manager on a day-to-day basis, both proactively and as directed. Progress or redirect commercial enquiries received by telephone, email, website, etc. Monitor the Office Coordinator and Enquiries inboxes, actioning and/or forwarding to the appropriate team member, as required. Monitor commercial activity and leads proactively, including through use of the pipeline and CRM, ensuring the Bid Manager is updated on relevant developments. Assist with the set-up, development and on-going use of the CRM. Facilitate and contribute to the Bid/No Bid process; assist in commercial and contractual assessments. Assist with the administration, preparation and submission of bids and proposals. Assist the Bid Manager with populating Project Control Documents (PCDs) at Opportunity and Bid stages. Maintain the Supplier Tender Registrations spreadsheet quarterly, ensuring log ins are up to date and all required information correct. Manage the annual renewals process for supplier portals.Experience and skills required Previously administration experience, ideally within bids and contracts Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and other databases Strong verbal and written communication skills Own Transport is essential due to the locationPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
