Job Title: Deputy Care Manager Salary: £25K - £28K (Dependent on experience) Location: Loughborough ****Note: This job does not provide Sponsorship*** Reports to: Registered Manager Techcited Ltd, a leading recruitment firm specialising in the healthcare sector, is currently seeking a Deputy Care Manager in Loughborough to join our client's esteemed care business. Our client operates nationwide and is dedicated to delivering exceptional domiciliary care services throughout Leicestershire and surrounding regions. Job Purpose: To ensure customers receive excellent quality care and support, keeping them safe and comfortable in their own homes. Compassion, good communication, and management skills, along with a calm and caring manner, are vital for this important role Key Responsibilities: * Manage supervisors and care assistants to provide safe, effective care and support tailored to each customer’s needs and preferences. * Support each customer to live their life according to their choices, promoting their dignity and privacy at all times. * Conduct assessments with customers and/or their representatives before service begins, determining their needs and goals, and conducting risk assessments. * Develop and agree on a personalised care and support plan that respects the customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy. Implement appropriate risk control measures and keep plans up to date. * Provide care assistants with the necessary information and guidance to deliver care and support as outlined in the care plan. * Distribute, collect, and monitor Medication Administration Records (MAR) charts. * Manage staff changeovers and briefings for live-in care assignments in the absence of the care manager. * Conduct investigations into service quality and implement improvement actions. * Monitor the performance of care assistants and carry out quality reviews at customers’ homes to ensure service delivery aligns with company procedures. * Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring accidents and incidents are recorded, reported, and addressed. * Ensure all customer information is kept secure and confidential Requirements: * NVQ level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care. * 3 years of experience in the Healthcare industry. * Knowledge of creating care plans· * Driver ******************************* If you think this role is for you then please send us your CV OR call (phone number removed) You can also visit our website for more information
