Estimator - £50k - £60k (Depending on Experience) - St Albans Our client, a well-respected main contractor based in St Albans, seeks a skilled and experienced Estimator to join their growing team. In this crucial role, you'll play a key part in project planning and execution, preparing accurate cost estimates, attending site meetings, managing project costs, and negotiating final accounts. You'll be a great fit if you have: * 3-5 years' experience as an Estimator in construction, with a focus on commercial fit-outs in office, retail & hospitality sectors. * A degree or diploma in a relevant field like Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering. * Strong analytical & numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail. * Proficiency in estimating software and Excel * Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. * A solid understanding of construction methods, materials & regulations. You'll also bring: * A proactive, self-motivated approach. * Strong problem-solving & critical thinking abilities. * The ability to work independently and collaboratively. * High integrity & professional ethics
