We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile maintenance engineer to join our team at Stirling Warrington, a family-run business based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Our company specializes in manufacturing high-end consumer products, and we have made significant investments in new machinery, including a revamped workshop area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing reactive and planned maintenance on a range of equipment, including CNC Drilling machines, Automated Bandsaws, Presses, Shrink Wrappers, and Conveyors. Our process involves a mix of manual and automated processes running on Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fault finding and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
- Conduct planned maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our equipment and processes
Requirements
- Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a strong mechanical or electrical bias
- Experience with CNC equipment and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Level 3 qualification in maintenance (NVQ, City and Guilds, HNC/D)
