Shipping Co-Ordinator

Shipping Co-Ordinator Peterborough – Hybrid (Once trained: 50% on site/50% WFH) Initial 6 month contract – will be extended for the right person! We are looking for a Shipping Co-Ordinator to join our client’s Global Supply Chain team in Peterborough and will be a key player in planning, arranging and processing shipments to our global customer base. What will you do? Arrange for shipments of products to be dispatched to customers based on available product Working with carriers and customers to agree collection schedules Send all relevant documentation for the shipments to the necessary contacts Prepare, submit and record the export entry for goods sent overseas What are we looking for? Excellent Customer service – solving customer problems internally and externally Accuracy and Attention to Detail – processes amounts of detailed information with good accuracy. Being flexibility and able to adaptability - to new or changing assignments, processes, and people. Experience in Import/Export documentation - arranging transportation of materials and goods to manufacturing facilities and customers.
