QA Manager

Job details: * Accountable for Quality Control of all raw materials, in-process and finished products accordingly. * Team management consisting of 1 supervisor and 4 lab technicians. * Ensure sufficient inventory of lab chemicals and material available for final and in-process Quality Control. * Lead and support in non-conforming product batch investigation. * To support in handling and disposal of non-conforming product/SMOG if rework options is not available. * Work closely with the warehouse to ensure timely approval of products for shipments. * Provide various technical support to the operation department to achieve the quality objective & other related requirement. * To lead Management Systems which includes leading and managing periodic audits, Facilitating Management Review Meeting. * Be the Quality Management Representative for the plant. * The sole contact point for all plant related customer complaints and play leadership role in ensuring all customer complaint investigation are completed in timely manner. Qualifications / Experience: * Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or equivalent (essential) * Minimum 5 years' experience in managing QC lab in chemical industry (essential) * Exposure in Management System such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 (essential) * Experience in SAP working environment What’s on offer: * Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 * Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (flexible working hours) * Annual leave - 26 days + stats (rising to 30 days after 5 years employment) * Life insurance - 4 x Salary * Pension scheme - 6% EE & 12% ER * Company events * Gym membership * Health & well-being program * On-site parking * Private medical insurance * Referral program * Sick pay * Work from home 1 day a week
