CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview:
Astral at Franklin, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants – CNA’s who are customer and patient focused to become a part of a health care company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy. They work hands-on with our residents on a daily basis assisting with any caregiving needs and work under the direction of a licensed nurse. Experience in a Senior Living organization is a plus!

 

We are a vibrant senior living community located in Franklin, Indiana. Astral at Franklin is a assisted living community offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.

8 hour shifts

$18.00 - $21.50 per hour depending on experience

 Duties and responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance/services as required or instructed

Observe and report any changes in resident’s physical/emotional condition to the licensed nurse

Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers

Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education

Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family

Required skills and qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

One year of caregiving experience

Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
