An exciting opportunity for a Assistant Accountant within the Birmingham area has arisen for our Motor Trade Client.

Working within a Leading Franchise Dealership, the successful Assistant Accountant will be well versed in providing an exceptional Accounting service.

Benefits within this Assistant Accountant role include:

• 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday

• Basic Salary £26,500

Duties as an Assistant Accountant will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting Teams Debt meetings
• Supervising Accounts teams for daily task completion
• Handling VAT return and audit-related tasks
• Assisting in preparing monthly accounts
• Reconciling manufacturer key accounts
• Monitoring sales and purchase ledgers for month-end close

Our Client is seeking an Assistant Accountant who has a proven track record within an Accounts Department and ideally hold both Motor Trade and ideally Kerridge experience.
