Closing Date: July 19, 2024 11:59 PM The Louis Riel Capital Corporation (LRCC) is a Manitoba Métis-owned lending institution created to finance the start-up, acquisition and/or expansion of viable Métis controlled small businesses based in Manitoba. The LRCC seeks to fill one (1) full-time Credit Assistant position based out of Winnipeg, MB. Salary range of $42, to $56, dependent on education and experience. Job Duties/Competencies: Receives and reviews client applications, sets up appropriate documentation. Responds to basic client program inquiries. Sets up client meetings with credit team. Supports credit team during application due diligence. Obtains legal/licensing/jurisdictional documents related to business proposals. Inputs personal & business data entry on CRM platforms. Supports program communication & marketing activities including bulk emails. Assists in business conference & event planning. Generates forms for payment, ensures payment of correct amounts. Monitors commercial loan and grant client activities during control period for compliance. Applies high standards of customer service as it relates to timeliness, accuracy of information, interpretation of technical language, and overall incumbent access. Prepares and follows corporate standards for document creation and retention including letters of offer, letters of decline, amendment letters, claim forms and general correspondence. Compiles reporting on various program metrics for LRCC stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications: Experience working in an office environment. Previous credit and/or administration experience an asset. Occasional evening/weekend work may be required. Some travel outside of Winnipeg may be required. Proficient with various Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Good communication and organizational skills. Self-motivated and able to complete tasks in an efficient & timely manner.
