Technical Manager

This is a brand new position for a technical manager to join one of the UK's most successful and respected manufacturers of specialist windows, doors and glazing products. * This is a unique opportunity for a technical manager with fenestration, window industry experience to join one of the fastest growing and most dynamic window companies in the UK. * You will have a background in sales, or in a technical role supporting installers and contractors in the fenestration or double glazing industry. * This is not a sales role, it is a technical manager support function to the loyal installer network that the company supplies. * Your background could be in extrusion, window hardware or in a technical role with a window manufacturer, or fabricator. * Working closely with the MD you will support the internal sales support function in relation to technical matters in the supply of aluminium and PVCu windows and doors. * As the technical manager you will head the department both from the office and in the field, ensuring the continued supply of high quality windows and doors. * You will work closely with the MD in business relations and for the further development of the business. * The position of technical manager offers enormous potential for significant career development, and earning potential long term. * This truly is a unique opportunity for a technical minded sales manager or senior technician to take a big step forward from a career point of view, a very exciting opportunity indeed for someone wanting career advancement.
