Job Title: Recruitment Co-ordinator Hours: 36 hours per week Reporting to: Senior Recruitment Co-ordinator Are you passionate about providing a high-quality recruitment service? Do you excel in handling enquiries and queries? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our client's team and ensure the seamless recruitment process for both internal and external applicants. Responsibilities: Processing of Applications Display vacancies on the College Intranet and Internet sites, adhering to College policies Handle enquiries and queries from applicants, managers, and staff Respond promptly to ad-hoc queries from prospective applicants Ensure accurate data input of candidate details onto the intranet system Shortlisting and Interviewing Collaborate with managers to agree on shortlisting criteria Arrange shortlisting dates and participate in shortlisting panels Coordinate selection processes and regularly review them Schedule interview dates and ensure candidates are well-informed Participate in interview panels, ensuring compliance with College policies Administer assessments and provide feedback to candidates Appointment Set appropriate starting salaries in consultation with the Senior Recruitment Co-ordinator Make verbal job offers and issue offer letters and contracts Conduct pre-employment checks, referring any issues to the HR Director or relevant HR Advisor Ensure new employees have ID numbers and computer logins set up Coordinate induction arrangements and inform line managers Maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation Other Provide advice and information on HR issues to prospective employees and staff Communicate contract amendments effectively Foster a safe and inclusive environment, promoting equality & diversity, safeguarding, and prevention Participate in training and development activities Support enrolment duties General: Comply with Health & Safety Regulations and contribute to the College's Health & Safety Policy Uphold the values of equality & diversity, safeguarding, and prevention within the College Proactively engage in the College's in-service training activities Carry out any other reasonable duties as required We are looking for a proactive and approachable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
