Cover Supervisor Location: Tameside Salary: £95.16 - £140 per day (depending on experience) Job Type: Full time, Permanent contract for the right candidate Are you a dedicated individual with excellent behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting students in their educational journey at a secondary school level? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently working with a popular Secondary School who are recruiting for a full time Cover Supervisor to join their ranks into the new academic year starting in September 2024! Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage secondary school students during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline at the secondary school level. Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere where secondary school students can thrive academically. Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups within a secondary school setting as required. Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the secondary school day. Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. Requirements: Availability from 8:30 to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Strong behaviour management skills are essential, particularly in a secondary school context. Flexibility to cover a range of secondary school subjects and year groups. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a secondary school, is a plus. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position, or willingness to obtain one
