We are currently seeking a Mobile Support Worker to join us on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, until March 2025 as part of our Ealing DVA Service – Supported Housing. Ready to make a positive difference to the lives of countless women? Read on and apply today. The Role As a Mobile Support Worker, you will support and empower women, many of whom have complex needs. Working on placements covering short and medium term staff vacancies, you will work across all supported housing services to provide a safe and empowering environment for women and their dependents. You will implement a range of interventions and support measures to women experiencing or escaping domestic violence, or resettling following release from prison. Advocating on women’s behalf or empowering them to fully access their welfare, legal, social and housing rights, you will deliver our full range of quality services. About You To be considered as a Mobile Support Worker, you will need: - Experience of working with adults in a related social care setting - Experience of working in a support role and promoting independence - Experience of working in partnership with other agencies - Experience of undertaking individual assessments, including risk assessments, and developing support plans - Up to date knowledge of and training in legal rights - A relevant qualification or training in the issues around domestic violence and abuse, problematic substance misuse and the criminal justice system Candidates interested in applying should attach a cover letter outlining how they meet the essential criteria specified in the person specification as well as how they think they meet Housing for Women’s EPIC values.
