Job Title: Accounting Staff General Ledger Effective Date: Immediately Department: Accounting Payroll Status: Salaried Non-Exempt Reports To: Accounting Manager Job Summary: Maintain accounting procedures primarily associated with financial reporting and general ledger while providing backup for other accounting functions as necessary. Primary Job Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial statements under IFRS standards with eliminations. Perform monthly financial statement analytics. Present monthly reports to Officers and H One. Compile quarterly H One reports. Assist in compiling year-end audited financial statements under US GAAP standards with eliminations. Prepare company and consolidated budgets on an as-requested basis. Develop company and consolidated long-term plans on an as-requested basis. Collaborate with Canadian subsidiary on monthly financial statements, reports, budgets, long-term plans, etc. Manage department expense reports. Coordinate budget and long-term plan sales price with Sales Department. Update production plans from forecasts issued by customer(s) for budgeting purposes. Assist in compiling financial analytics on an as-requested basis. Maintain awareness and accept responsibility regarding internal controls and compliance with JSOX. Other Job Responsibilities: Perform other accounting functions, including month-end, census surveys, and year-end activities. Run queries. Locate details for account transactions. Assist other departments in understanding financial reporting. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience or training.
