ICT Officer

ICT Officer - Non-Profit Organisation £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid working available) Are you an experienced ICT professional with a passion for technology and making a difference? We are looking for an ICT Officer to join a well-established non-profit organisation. This role involves managing, maintaining, and enhancing the IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across various systems and supporting end-users. Key Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining ICT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud-based solutions. Providing technical support to end-users and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Supporting the implementation of new technologies to improve efficiency and service delivery. Working closely with the organisation's staff to ensure ICT tools are fit for purpose. Monitoring system performance, managing updates, and ensuring data security. Overseeing external IT contractors and managing vendor relationships. Key Requirements: Proven experience in ICT support, ideally within a charity or non-profit organisation. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, and cloud-based solutions. Experience in network management, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff. Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.
