Job Requirements / Description
Would you like to join a charity recognised as a great place to work (Investors in People / Best Companies Awards)? Be part of an exciting journey as they launch their new, cutting-edge criminal justice support programme. In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings to support their rehabilitation. The primary focus is on resettlement and securing employment, which includes helping clients develop skills, secure housing, and access the necessary support. You will provide one-to-one guidance, setting goals and milestones to facilitate their progress. You will be based at HMP Littlehey (3–4 days per week) and Huntingdon Probation Trust. To apply, you must have experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system, whether in a prison or custodial setting. Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance misuse, or homelessness is highly valuable. Criminology graduates with relevant voluntary experience are also encouraged to apply. Please apply via this advert – we aim to respond to everyone. If you haven't heard back within 72 hours, please complete the "Send Us A Message" form on the Contact Us page of the Red 5 People website, and we guarantee a real person will get back to you. For more details about the role, please call the office and ask for Lawrence. There are also plenty of benefits, including 25 days' leave (increasing over time), 2 paid volunteering days, an enhanced pension scheme, and life assurance. As a large charity, they also offer internal staff networks such as the LGBTQ+ Support Network, Racial Equality Network, Disability Equality Network, Women's Network, Men's Network, Young Professionals Network, Menopause Peer Support Group, and Neurodiversity Network
