Job Requirements / Description
Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Support Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer required to join a global organisation, to drive and support the sales team within the software solution, engineering solutions, and process automation sector, from start to finish of the sales cycle.
The successful Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Support Engineer / Internal Sales shall deal with directly with the sales team, customer inquiries, provide technical sales support and solutions, proposals, presentations, whilst having a technical background in software technologies or process industry.
The Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Support Engineer / Internal Sales will ideally have experience in a technical sales support role or similar within the engineering sector. Must also be commutable to the Isle of Wight from Southampton, live on the Isle of Wight, or open to relocation.
Package
£40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Annual bonuses based on performance
37 hours per week

Give technical advice and deep product knowledge when speaking to customers.
Highlight the right product selection as per customers’ needs.
Working with the sales team and customers primarily.
Generate & provide quotations.
Support the sales team when closing sales opportunities.
Present and demonstrate solutions to customers.
Carry out contractual review and preparation of formal quotations against customer requirements.
Provide technical sales support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc.
Liaise with various people within the Software and Sales team.

Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a globally known business.
Confident when speaking with customers and your team
Self-motivated and results-driven
Ability to collaborate with all levels of the sales teams and technical departments
Understand the products to provide information in response to inquiries quickly and effectively
Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering solutions and software solutions.
Full product training provided.
Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Advisor, Technical Support Engineer, Account Manager, Technical Sales Support, Technical Sales Engineer or similar.
Service Engineers with Software or Process Automation experience.
A technical qualification in Engineering or Software would be advantageous
Must be commutable to the Isle of Wight from Southampton, live on the Isle of Wight, or open to relocation.
