An excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established company. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience. Location: Crook, Durham DL1. Schedule: Monday – Friday. Some of their technicians have been with them from the start of their careers. Their workshop is modern, clean, fully equipped and heated. They have multiple channels for technical data to support technicians and a Picoscope on hand as well as other testing equipment. Although they are a multi-brand independent workshop they have invested in dealer diagnostics, which include Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Citroen and Peugeot. About The Role: The company are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions- Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems- Carry out servicing, routine maintenance and repairs and the candidate would be expected to have a good understanding of electrical diagnosis and testing - Keep accurate records of work carried out using our management system. Experience / Qualifications needed: * Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician. * Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. * Full UK driving licence required. * Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance (NVQ Level 3).
