Nurture Teacher

Job Title: SEMH Nurture Teacher Location: Croydon Pay: MPS/UPS plus SEN point Start date – September Are you a dedicated and experienced Teacher with a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic SEMH Nurture Teacher to join an OUTSTANDING SEMH school in Croydon. This is a fulfilling Monday to Friday role, focusing on Year 7 students working at a Primary level in a nurturing class setting. Responsibilities: Deliver tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of students with SEMH challenges. Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment within the classroom. Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective strategies. Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to both students and parents. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Specialized training or experience in working with students with SEMH needs. Strong understanding of nurturing and inclusive teaching practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Requirements: A genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH challenges. Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students.
