Job Title: Delivery Driver

We're seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team of self-employed Delivery Drivers at Driver Express. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering packages and providing great customer experiences for companies like Amazon and other well-known brands.

Some opportunities will provide a fully-equipped van, while others will require you to have access to a Short wheelbase van with the appropriate Insurance: Goods in Transit, Public Liability and Goods for Hire or Reward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load vans and deliver packages, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations on the road, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
• Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Independent problem solver with good communication skills, both spoken and written English.
• The ability and willingness to use stairs to deliver packages, ensuring accessibility for all customers.
• Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23kgs), demonstrating physical capability and stamina.
• Commercial (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not required.
• Full and valid UK or EU Driving Licence (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes).
• Must pass a criminal background check and a 5-point drug & alcohol test.
• Where vans are provided, you must be able to commute to and from the delivery station.
• Must be at least aged 18.
