Inside Sales Reprensentative, Belleville ON

Location: Belleville, Ontario

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in our Belleville branch, located at 405 College Street East, Belleville, ON. If you are a customer-oriented, motivated, self-starter why not join our team and put your career on a path to success.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to walk-in customers.
• Receives orders from customers (by phone, email, etc.) and enters all information required for order picking into the system.
• Answers customer questions pertaining to price and product. Supplies customer with relevant information. Provides alternativesand suggestions when appropriate.
• Calls customers for additional details and/or to give them the availability of special products and/or the replacement.
• Provides quotes to customers using computer system as needed.
• Makes regular phone calls to specific customers when required.
• Transcribes all non-stock material in order for the purchasing dept. to order the material.
• Follow-up on direct shipments from suppliers to customers to ensure billing to customer is timely.
• Responsible for picking and packing orders generated at the Counter as required.
• Assists in loading product into customer vehicles’ as required.
• Executes all other duties required by the position or by the immediate supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 Years’ experience related to inside sales/direct customer service in a wholesale environment
• Knowledge of plumbing and/or heating supply, an asset
• Customer-focused, good interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication in English.
• Good mathematical knowledge.
• Ability to produce precise work under pressure.
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving.
• Previous experience operating IBM AS400 Software, an asset
• Previous warehousing experience, an asset
